The LuxLight LSBK5050 LED double softbox kit uses the latest in LED lighting technology to provide a high quality, soft continuous light source that is suitable for home or studio photography and is especially good for video capture. The full kit is extremely light-weight and includes a padded carry bag, making it an excellent portable lighting set.
The softbox attachments are constructed with high grade materials and they feature an easy assembly umbrella opening that will allow you to set up the full kit in a matter of minutes. Two tripod light stand supports will hold your lighting in position and the flicker free and noise free 4,000 Lumen LED light bulbs have a high CRI of 92 and a 5400k daylight colour temperature, making this kit an excellent choice for photography and video lighting.

Light Bulb
These LED bulbs outperform equivalent fluorescent light bulbs in all aspects. First of all they use less energy, saving you money in the long run and they have a longer life span of up to 20,000 hours. The CRI rating is better than fluorescent bulb and most E27 LED bulbs with a rating of Ra 92, providing a more natural, quality light for your photography and helping you to capture the true colour and rendition of your subject.
The bulb will remain cool for a long time as the energy is used much more efficiently, this particular bulb has not been fitted with a cooling fan so that it remains noise free. The bulb emits bright light at the standard daylight colour temperature of 5400k, making them a good choice when capturing video.
The bulb has a standard E27 screw fitting and it is equipped with current overload protection, to ensure the life of the bulb. It has 68 LED beads with a 4000lm output; one LED bulb is the equivalent of a 450w incandescent light bulb. The face of the bulb is covered with a soft, white lighting cap that softens the light output from the LEDs.
Softbox
The softbox has been built using high grade materials to ensure the quality of light is not compromised; the front diffuser has been cut from 3034 ¼” butterfly cloth and creates a wide beam spread and a very soft light, to keep you in control of harsh shadows in your images. There is an inner diffuser included for further softening the light output.
The outer softbox has been constructed using a cross pattern for durability and its reflective properties. Finally there are 20 heat dissipating holes located at the rear end, allowing heat to escape easily and protecting the longevity of the softbox as well as making sure you’re working in a safe environment.
The softbox has an easy open design, popping open like an umbrella and clamping into a rigid cube shape that measures 50x50cm. Once in shape there is an E27 screw for your bulb and an angle adjustable bracket on the back that simply screws onto your light stand to be held as you need. The softbox has a 3 meter wire with 3 pin plug and the on/off switch is conveniently placed on the wire.
Light Stand
The light stands have been chosen for this equipment with the weight bearing in mind, they will comfortably support the weight of the softbox and bulb, yet still remain light-weight enough for easy transportation and quick adjustments while on set.
The stand features an aluminium alloy structure for good strength and maneuverability, a wide three leg base for good balance, two rising sections with simple screw locks for quick height and angle adjustments and a standard metal spigot with ¼” mounting screw.
Carry Bag
The padded carry bag has been designed to hold the full kits equipment in a compact space, to stop any equipment moving around unnecessarily during transit and protect the parts from damage. It has been finished to a high spec and has zip pockets on the walls and lid, filled with shock absorbent polystyrene squares; the base has a foam protective sheet. The bag has two standard carry handles so it can be carried easily with one arm, a shoulder strap is also included for ease when moving to new locations.
