League: Cuban Triangular League
History: For the 1926-27 season, the wealthy owners of the Habana, Almendares, and Marianao teams pulled out of the Cuban League and started the Triangular League. Not only did Habana boast great local talent, but the club featured two of the greatest American Negro Leaguers of all time, Oliver "Ghost" Marcelle, considered one of baseball's all-time best-fielding third basemen, and center-fielder Oscar Charleston, who went on to play for and manage over 15 teams in a career that went into the mid-1950s.
