- Preparation Heat water till just below the boiling point Place a tea bag in your cup and pour some hot water. Dip the tea bag in hot water until you get the light greenish yellow colour but for not more than 2 minutes. Remove the tea bag and enjoy your hot cup of green tea. You may also add sugar / honey / lemon as desired.
